Hire clubs were fine - a good selection of wedges! Service in pro shop and in the bar was exemplary- food very good.
Only slight negative is that there could be clearer and more signage from green to the next tee - particularly after the 7th on C.

from Romania Golfing in The Azores Batalha Golf Club is a beautiful 27 golf course.
We played C & A. We started out walking because there were no buggies, but just before we finished the 3 rd hole 2 very nice gentlemen delivered us a buggy!
It is very hilly and for us very difficult to walk.
The course is in excellent condition, challenging but very fair.
We loved this course.

from Netherlands Not amused Course was beautiful but not fully available, cart paths were very bumpy. Prices of rental clubs and buggies were ridiculously high (€210 for 3 people).
