This is a very friendly course to play with some interesting holes. The course has improved dramatically since Pestana took it over. It was full when we last played so took just over 4 hours but always very pleasant.

We played the Praia 9 and then the Alvor 9. I had a poor round (after a blinding start!) so am trying not to be biased. The course was plagued by itinerant lost golf ball sellers with their bags of balls on display for purchase at many of the tees. There was also considerable course maintenance work taking place with noise from machinery which I found unsettling and annoying. Poor signage, some nice views, wouldnt return.
