Having had to take raincheck on our original booking. Word of advise, find out when ladies day is and avoid it. We were a 10.00am teeoff but only if the 40 plus lady members had all gone. They hadnt. All of them walk the course we its along walk.After they had all gone we were behind a group of young lads on a stag. Still the worse for wear and some who confessed to never having played golf. We opted to reschedule and got out Sunday at 7.30. With no real pressure it as a good test of golf with some lovely holes. Worth playing but it does get very busy so Id check carefully before opting.

Never ever will we play this course again. Great clubhouse. The course has no fringe, everything up the middle has a chance of being lost. Even one of the staff called it an unfair course. We lost 8 balls with only three being offline. Balls roll from fairway into deep rough with no protection. Golf should be a challenge but a fair one. This unfortunately is a lottery of a golf course and needs quite a few years to develop into an enjoyable day out.

Get over the initial shock of the undulating fairways. This is a good test of golf, long in places and needs a good approach to some tricky holes. We have played it three times and enjoy it more each time. Nice club house and a pleasant experience.

A cracker of a course. Lovely holes good greens and a good challenge for all levels. Requires thought in places, but what course doesnt. Well worth a visit.
