Lisbon Sports Club Overview

The Lisbon Sports Club golf course is an 18 hole course in the northern outskirts of Lisbon. First established as only a six hole course in 1880 by foreign English residents, the golf course is located almost in the present centre of Lisbon. By many players, the Lisbon Sports Club golf course is locally known as being a very tricky course to play. A small river by the name of Jamor runs through the course presenting some interesting challenges that cause trouble to even good players right from the first tee.

After negotiating its many difficulties there is a final Par 4 eighteenth hole of 442 metres which is designed to irritate the patience of most players. As the golfer makes their way down the fairway the River Jamor threatens to catch their ball almost six times before reaching the narrow green surrounded by trees.

The holes is going criss cross, IE hole number five tee is over the geen at nr one. Very dangerous golf course if you are not professional.
